Our people
These are the key people of our research group. We are also looking for passionate and enthusiastic young scientists to join us.

Group leader
Dr. Michelle Yap is currently the senior lecturer and leader of the research group. She is a toxicologist and pharmacologist with a strong interest in natural toxins. Her current research focuses on pharmacoproteomics, immunoinformatics, and computational modeling of toxins. She is interested to investigate the functionality of toxins and their molecular mechanisms. This includes toxin-receptor, toxin-membrane interactions, and production of next-generation antivenomics using recombinant technology and bioinformatics approach.
